CPCU Ethics Webinar: “Managing the Risks of Models & AI: Are We Creating a Better Tomorrow or Unleashing Skynet?”
The Connecticut & Boston CPCU Chapters are joining together to host an ethics webinar, presented by Elizabeth Gieseking, Data Science Manager at StateFarm.
Recent polls have shown that Americans are worried about out the risks of artificial intelligence. While new advances are bringing AI to the forefront, predictive models have been used in insurance and banking for decades and methods are in place for managing these risks. In this presentation we will look at a variety of uses of models and AI, including Generative AI. We will examine the motivations for the use of these AI technologies, the associated risks, and potential ethical concerns.
